Researchers name recently ID'd dino for Ghostbusters beast

TORONTO: Scientists in Toronto have named a recently distinguished dinosaur after a creature from the first "Ghostbusters" film.

The Royal Ontario Museum says it procured the skeleton of Zuul crurivastator (ZOOL' crer-uh-vas-TAYT'- or) a year ago. The name references Zuul, a canine like beast that threatens characters played by Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis in the 1984 motion picture.

The exhibition hall says researchers picked the name Zuul in view of the components of its head, which incorporates a short, adjusted nose and conspicuous horns behind the eyes.

The skeleton of the reinforced dinosaur was unearthed from the Judith River Formation in Montana. Researchers say it's one of the best safeguarded ankylosaurs at any point found, with a total skull and tail club and protected delicate tissues.
