7 harmed in transport mishap after driver saw "headless lady

DAMAULI: Seven people, including an Indian national, were harmed following a night transport turned turtle along the Prithvi Highway in Tanahun locale on Sunday night.

The transport (Lu 2 Kha 505) was heading towards Kathmandu from Burtiwang of Baglung when it met with the mishap at Sirdi of Byas Municipality, said Tanahun District Police Office.

The mischance obviously occurred after the driver fantasized when he was in the driver's seat. The driver told police that he saw "two streets ahead after a headless lady attempted to stop the transport".

The harmed have been distinguished as Rupa BK (31), Bishnu Maya BK (42), Maya Kharel (44) and Krishna Budha (30) Baglung, Chandra Kumari Tamag (34) of Kavre and Sunil Saha (20) of Ranchi in India.

The harmed are getting treatment at the Damauli-based Ratnahari Hospital and Pokhara-based Manipal Teaching Hospital.
